Middle Child Evaluation Services partners with schools and educational teams to provide comprehensive evaluation and consultation services designed to support student success.
Led by Dr. Schehera Coleman, a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist, Middle Child Evaluation Services brings expertise in assessment, special education, and systems-level support to help teams better understand and support learners with complex needs.
Contracted Evaluation Services
Schools may partner with Middle Child Evaluation Services for additional evaluation support based on student and program needs.
Services may include:
• Psychoeducational evaluations
• School neuropsychological evaluations
• Gifted evaluations
• Complex learner evaluations
• Review of existing assessment data
• Educational recommendations and planning
Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
Middle Child Evaluation Services provides Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for school districts seeking objective, comprehensive evaluations completed by an experienced evaluator outside of the district system.
IEEs are designed to provide a deeper understanding of a student's cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, executive functioning, social-emotional, and behavioral profile.
IEEs may support teams when:
Parents disagree with a school-based evaluation
• Additional information is needed for educational planning
• A student presents with a complex learning profile
• Questions remain regarding eligibility, services, or supports
• Specialized assessment expertise is needed
Consultation & Professional Support
Beyond individual evaluations, Middle Child Evaluation Services supports educators and teams through consultation designed to strengthen understanding, decision-making, and student support.
Services may include:
• Complex case consultation
• Evaluation review
• Special education consultation
• Professional development
• MTSS and intervention planning support
