Meet Dr. Schehera Coleman
PhD, ABPP, NCSP, ABSNP
PA Licensed Psychologist | Nationally Certified School Psychologist | Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology
Every child has a unique way of learning, thinking, and experiencing the world. When that learning story becomes complicated, families deserve more than a diagnosis or a list of test scores, they deserve understanding.
I founded Middle Child Eval because I believe a comprehensive evaluation should do more than explain what is happening. It should help families understand why it is happening and, just as importantly, provide practical, real-world recommendations they can use to help their child succeed.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of psychology, education, and child development. As both a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist, I have had the privilege of supporting children and families across schools, hospitals, and community settings. My work has included direct evaluation and intervention, educational leadership, and the development of a school-based mental health program designed to improve outcomes for children.
My specialized training in school neuropsychology has deepened my understanding of how cognitive abilities, learning, memory, attention, executive functioning, emotional well-being, and development interact to influence school performance and everyday functioning. Every evaluation is designed to consider the whole child, not simply a diagnosis or isolated test scores.
Families often come to Middle Child Eval after months, or even years, of searching for answers. My goal is to provide evaluations that are thoughtful, comprehensive, and practical, giving families both a deeper understanding of their child and a clear roadmap for moving forward.
